Built to move.

A publication about the most creative businesses, brand experiences and hospitality concepts that operate on wheels.

A jeweler has toured six cities with a boutique on a trailer, a film studio pours espresso from three-wheeled Italian vans, and a sauna sails out across Oslo harbor with a full bench. Most people walk past these things and think, what is that? We stop and find out.

What we cover

Exceptional mobile businesses, and the people and brands who build them: mobile retail and hospitality, touring brand experiences, wellness concepts, vehicle design and fabrication, and the economics underneath it all. We are interested in the ones that are beautiful, clever, or commercially surprising, ideally all three.

Each story starts with the thing itself and then explains the business, the design and the strategy behind it: why it moves, how it makes money, who built it, and what anyone else can learn from it.

How we report

Every story is based on real companies and projects. We use the company itself as our primary source wherever we can, and support it with reputable reporting. Every source is listed at the foot of the article it informed. We do not invent quotes, figures or facts, and when we get something wrong we correct it in the open. The details are in our editorial policy.

Who owns it

Mobile Hospitality Magazine is owned by the founder of The Hudson Trailer Company, which designs and builds mobile hospitality units. We think you should know that before you read a word about the industry it works in. The magazine covers the whole field on its merits, including companies that compete with The Hudson Trailer Company, and when a story touches the company, one of its clients or a direct competitor, the story says so. Our editorial policy sets out how.

How we are funded

This is a business-to-business publication, funded by advertising, sponsorships and partnerships with companies in the mobile business world. Paid content is always labeled, and no advertiser buys a story, a review or a place in our editorial coverage. Our sponsored content policy explains exactly how that works.
